New Price List Effective July 1, 2008

To our Valued Customers:

With the unprecedented rise in North American fuel costs, CBM has had to review our 2008 pricing strategy. As you are all aware oil prices have more than doubled in the last year and are up 60% year to date alone.

In order to recuperate increased operating expenses we find it necessary to implement additional cost recovery increases. As of July 1, 2008 a Fuel Service Charge of $15.00 per load will be applied to assist in the rising cost of delivery. On the production side, Winter Handling will be increased to $16.00 per meter effective November 1, 2008 until April 15, 2009.

The cost of CBM’s environmental programs has also incurred cost increases and requires the increasing of the Environmental Charge to $3.50.

These additional charges cover the increased cost of running our fleet, plant boilers and water heaters to allow timely delivery all year round and efficient batching during the colder periods of the year. This ensures your concrete meets temperature specifications and is delivered on time.
